Filipino food is one of my absolute favourite cuisines in the entire world. It's endlessly flavourful, simple and influenced from many different cultures.
Here are all of the resources to explore authentic Filipino food from the best cookbooks, bloggers, content creators and chefs. If you want to learn more about food from the Philippines, this is the best place to start.
Although I'm not Filipino, my partner's mom grew up close to Manila and my partner Josh grew up with no shortage of incredible Filipino food between his mom, his aunts and uncles and the church families.
When I first met Josh's mom Yolanda, she knew I liked to cook and she very patiently taught me all of Josh's favourite foods so I could cook him meals to make him feel closer to home because she lives across the country.
Seeing the amount of love and care is put into Filipino meals warmed my heart and once I tasted it - I was sold immediately. Of all the food cultures, Filipino food is the closest to my heart so I knew it just had to be the first Authentic Food Guide I put together.
